In and amongst the erected

Stories of the humankins relations to the basic forces of being, about growing from an innoscence, an almost unconcious state within a myth of nature and into a culturalmyth. Stories in the tension between nature-culture, traces of nature in culture and traces of culture in nature, coherence and division. Stories of this magnificent awakening, liberation and acknowledgement, but also confusion, deseption, anxiety and an almost restless, desperate search for Gods and explanations. In this search or growth, in this human venture, call it rebellion or development is it that I gain inspiration and material for my paintings.
